About the Arena

Home to the Brandon AAA Midget Wheat Kings, the Sportsplex arena is a regulation sized ice surface that many hockey, figure skating, speed skating and other groups utilize.

During the Fall/Winter months our ice is pretty busy during prime time (weekdays – 4:30pm and weekends) but we encourage anyone, looking of ice, to leave their name and e-mail with the Front Office and we will contact you whenever ice becomes available. We also schedule in extra Public Skates, Stick & Pucks and Techno Skates to make us the “cool” place to hang out when it’s hot outside!

STICKS AND PUCKS This is divided into age groups, there are no exceptions you must attend the age appropriate level. HELMETS AND FACE MASKS ARE MANDATORY. Adults may wear a ½ visor.

LOOKING FOR ICE?

If you are a coach and would like us to contact you whenever ice comes open all you need to do is give us your e-mail address and we will contact you via e-mail. 

If you would like to look at ICE AVAILABILITY on your own time, you can do this by doing the following:

• Go to our webpage www.thesportsplex.ca
• On the main page to the top right hand corner and select REGISTER
• Go to BOOK FACILITIES
• Click on FACILITY AVAILABILITY
• Select the date, times and the lengh of time you are looking for and enter.  The list of dates & times that show is what is available.
• You won't be able to book your ice but if you call us at 204-729-2471 we will be glad to book it for you.
